Inspired by the theme “Viseu, no coração do planalto que reúne os sabores de cinco serras — Caramulo, Arada, Freita, Montemuro e Serra da Estrela”, the chef Carolina Salgado favors whenever possible the self-consumption farm products and the selection of local producers, with organic or traditionally produced ingredients, respecting seasonality.
On the menu, Carolina values the cuisine of the Viseu region, combining traditional roots with touches of modernity. Among the highlights are the Quint-style Roast Veal, the nettle stew, the magnolia flower pickle and the subtle aromas of sichuan pepper, creating a dining experience designed to surprise.
